I usually write about my professional life. Here's a twist.

As I talk to people of different ages, different life paths, and ideas I realize we are all so different and so connected at the same time.

What I Know For Sure -

Life Lesson #1 - Change is constant.

For the good, and for the bad - it's an ever-changing life principle. As soon as you accept that everything changes, you adapt to what's coming next much easier. Holding on to what has changed or is about to change is much more painful. We age, we grow, we move, we die. We change. Weather changes. Life changes. Earth changes. Everything is in a state of perpetual transition, shifting, and progression. It's a constant journey. It's a constant transition. Let's appreciate the change, whenever possible, or at least accept it as is.

Life Lesson #2 - No one is irreplaceable.

This is a "tough love" quote that I received from my dad. I do understand that it's important to constantly strive to become the best version of yourself. Continuously learning, assisting others more, and becoming a kinder, more generous person are all valuable pursuits. The motivation to improve oneself leads to personal growth, but it's important to acknowledge that, regardless of your efforts, you can always be substituted, potentially by someone who is either better or worse. Embracing this truth is essential for moving forward.

Life Lesson #3 - Emotions are good.

I have been always masking my emotions. Fear of rejection, fear of missing out, or fear of loneliness was strongly leading me into masking and pretending. Until I realized - I am me. I must love me. I must accept me. And that's how I can be more authentic and build my tribe - by being true to myself, my ideas, and emotions. Learning to say yes to things and people. Learning to say NO very strongly helps in loving and accepting who you are! Of course, all should be done nicely and respectfully. Accepting your emotions, working on yourself, and trusting yourself are core values that should be voiced.

Life Lesson #4 - Letting go is a gift.

Often an extremely painful one, for sure. Yet by letting go you clear the energy, and open the door to new possibilities. I am sure you have those stories too, of letting go of a painful situation only to realize in a few months or years that it was the best thing that could have happened to you! Blessing in disguise. Imagine staying in that painful relationship. Imagine still working for that psycho boss. Imagine still listening to "friends" whining and complaining... See it was definitely worth it. Moving on. Letting go of a situation! Shedding a few tears to only later realize THIS was the best New Beginning.

Life Lesson #5 - Gratitude combines.

There is so many articles about gratitude and how to practice it. For example an article in Femme Blossom Magazine about the alchemy of gratitude. But what is most important is that those little and big things you are grateful for combine and create an avalanche of goodness, appreciation, and kindness.

Gratitude is a remarkable boon for your brain. It has the capacity to enhance your mental well-being, foster a positive outlook, and even improve cognitive functions. When you practice gratitude, your brain releases feel-good neurochemicals like dopamine and serotonin, which contribute to overall mental health and a greater sense of happiness. Moreover, it can reduce stress and anxiety, reinforcing the idea that being thankful is not only great for the heart but also for your mind.
